BTEC Level 2 Media
Arts Award (Silver)
Unit 1 Part C: review arts events
As an essential part of your Arts Award, you are required to attend and review an Arts Event.
This will be the Media Film Club on Tuesday 11th February.
You need to attend the event, take photographs and ask questions of the presenters.
All media information will be uploaded to your blog as part of the review.
The film selected for Film Club on Tuesday 11th February is the Big Lebowski.
Storyline:
When "The Dude" Lebowski is mistaken for a millionaire Lebowski, two thugs ruin his rug to coerce him into paying a debt he knows nothing about. While attempting to gain recompense for the ruined rug from his wealthy counterpart, he accepts a one-time job with high pay-off. He enlists the help of his bowling buddy, Walter, a gun-toting Jewish-convert with anger issues. Deception leads to more trouble, and it soon seems that everyone from porn empire tycoons to nihilists want something from The Dude.

  2. Ryan - this is competent enough work but remeber this is a review of the Film Club event, rather than the film. Show evidence of the event through including the digital video of the introduction to Film Club made by the tutor. This can be found in the public folder.
